Have you recently purchased a driveway alarm? Driveway alarms are a great way to improve your home security. If you have not purchased an alarm, you need to seriously consider buying one. Once you have an alarm, you need to install them. This article will tell you about DIY driveway alarm installation.
Before you purchase the driveway alarm, you need to consider the type of alarm you are going to buy. You can purchase either wired or wireless systems, and they both involve different installation. If you are adding the alarm to an already constructed house, you should go with a wireless alarm. If you are adding the alarm to a house under construction, you should go with the wired alarm.
Wireless alarm installation is easier because you will not have to cut any holes in your walls or bury any wires. You simply need to place the sensors in the spot you want them to be, attach the transmitter, and link the transmitter with the receiver. The installation is easy and can be done by anyone.
Wired alarm installation is harder though. You still place the sensors in the place you want them to be, but you need to connect the sensors with a wire, and then have a wire connected from the sensors to the receiver. The sensor wire will need to be buried under the driveway, and the sensor to receiver wire will need to be buried under the grass and a hole will need to be cut in the wall.
